PCE Executive Board Elections 2021
Registration
This year’s elections will be held via Zoom this Wednesday, April 21 at 8:00 PM (PDT). Voting will be conducted anonymously via Zoom polling. To participate, you must register.
Once we have verified your membership, you will receive a confirmation email with the Zoom link.

Elections
FORMAT:
Each candidate will have a pre-recorded speech followed by a live Q&A session.
President, Vice President: 4 min speech, 6 minutes of Q&A
Secretary, Treasurer, and Club Liaison: 3 min speech, 4 minutes of Q&A
There is a Q&A Form where members are invited to submit questions for candidates anonymously. These will be screened and asked by the current Exec. The Q&A portion will consist of both pre-screened questions from the Q&A form and live questions that can be asked during the election.

Procedure
General members must be paid members and present in the Zoom to vote.
Voters must also be present for the entirety of all candidates for that position in order to be eligible to cast their vote for that position.
For the opposed positions: Vice President, Secretary, Club Liaison, they will need a majority vote to be elected. Voters will have the option to either vote for a candidate or Abstain from voting for this position.
Since President and Treasurer are running unopposed, they will need a 2/3 majority vote to be elected. Voters will have the option to say Yes, No, or Abstain from voting for this position.
