What is Ating Himig?

Ating Himig is PCE’s non-audition choir. Along with holding biweekly practices and numerous performances throughout the year, Ating Himig also holds Open Mics each quarter.

In Tagalog Ating Himig means “our melody”, but to us it means so much more. Through our collective voices we’ve learned how to empower one another, truly defining what it means to be a family. We found ourselves to be fun, silly, and authentic; but we’ve also found ourselves to be passionate, determined and hardworking. To us, Ating Himig represents what we believe PCE is all about; finding your home away from home. All experience levels are welcomed at any time of the year!

Open Mics

PCE usually holds at least one open mic every quarter! These are safe and supportive environments for anyone and everyone to express themselves, whether it be through song, dance, spoken word, pep talks, puns - anything, you name it!
